Emulating A Professional Photographer

Course Goals & Achievements:

I did achieve some of my goals. Firstly, I did push myself to find and use light in different ways. In my first picture above of the kitchen drying rack, I utilized side lighting to best highlight the objects on the right side of the image. Secondly, I would say I found interesting subjects to shoot, and I will only continue to seek out more interesting subjects and ideas to create. For the last goal, I wanted to get better at using different editing software. I would say I still need to and want to work on this goal in my journey with photography. I look forward to exploring Photoshop more, and possibly more at the library in the digital media center with the computers there! Overall, this has been a successful semester of working towards my goals in photography, and I've enjoyed thinking and working outside the box with this class.
